- Are you using intraoral photography to educate and get the patients to own their dental health?
- Are we performing an oral cancer screening at every appointment?
- Do you have a broken appointment or late cancellation policy that is reviewed at every visit?
- Are the patients going home with their pictures?
- Do you send your patients home with healthy mouth, healthy body literature?
- Do you educate your patients on the stages of gum disease and send them home with literature regarding what you discussed?
- Do your hygienists take vital signs and review a patient’s medical history prior to starting the procedure?
- Are you sending your patients home with a “report card” regarding their oral health?
- How often are your patients accepting root planning treatment?
- Are your hygienists making reactivation calls when they are free?
- Do you perform periodontal maintenance once a patient has full mouth scaling?
- Do your hygienists use quality statements regarding the doctor, technology, patient stories, your high-tech facility, and their teammates?
